The Eastern Conference leading Brampton Battalion charge into the Bayshore for their annual visit to take on the Attack this evening in front of what will be another packed crowd at the Bayshore. Artur Gavrus (upper body), Jarrod Maidens (Undisclosed) and Kurtis MacDermid (Lower Body) will all not dress this evening. The Attack will be observing a moment of silence prior to this evening’s game to honour long time friend and time keeper, Jack McGregor.
Defensive Battle – Not very often will you see a team who ranks 18th in the OHL in goals scored hold down first place in their respective conference and 4th overall in the OHL. It has been the Battalion’s stingy defence that has propelled them to the top of the Eastern Conference. 19 year old goaltender and Stayner native, Keegan Wilson could get the call for the Battalion tonight. Wilson spent the 2010/2011 season with the Stayner Siskins Junior “C” Hockey Club.
Look Out For – Dylan Blujus is a 17 year old defenseman, but you wouldn’t know it by watching him play. The Buffalo native has tallied 6 goals and 20 assists this season to go along with a very responsible +8 rating.
